Sweetbriar Mansion is a Federal-style mansion in West Fairmount Park, built in 1797 for Samuel Breck and now serving as home to the Junior League of Philadelphia. The house represents early Federal architecture and preserves its setting overlooking the Schuylkill River valley.[1]
While not regularly open to the public, Sweetbriar contributes to the collection of historic houses that make Fairmount Park an outdoor architectural museum.
