JFK Boulevard Bridge is a bridge spanning the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, carrying John F. Kennedy Boulevard between Center City and 30th Street Station. The bridge is a major component of the city's transportation infrastructure, providing direct access to the region's primary rail hub.

History

The JFK Boulevard Bridge was constructed as part of the development of the Penn Center complex and the transformation of John F. Kennedy Boulevard (formerly Pennsylvania Boulevard) into a major civic corridor. The boulevard and bridge were renamed in honor of President John F. Kennedy following his assassination in 1963.[1]
