Platt Bridge
Platt Bridge (officially the George C. Platt Memorial Bridge) is a major bridge spanning the Schuylkill River in Southwest Philadelphia, connecting the mainland to Eastwick and providing access to Philadelphia International Airport. It is one of the primary access routes to the airport.
History

The bridge was built as part of major infrastructure improvements to support the growing Philadelphia International Airport and the industrial development of Southwest Philadelphia.[1]
